Grammar ~ Linking Sentences

Again, starting on the grammatical concepts page Pre-communicative Practice , you will be able to enter the contents page of all the linking categories, on the Linking signals (general) page. However today we have a lesson on various types of linking sentences together, depending on what it is that you actually wish to communicate. You shall find this on the Linking sentences page. Enjoy your intense learning!

Writing ~ Clauses

Before we can proceed with more creative writing lessons, we need to get the basic notions of the differences between sentences, clauses and phrases. Only when we master these components of writing can we start looking at good combinations and an effective writing style - a bit like building a house with different types of bricks... you must know your materials first.

Please find today's lesson on the Clauses page. I hope you find it useful - there's more to come on this matter.

English for Work ~ Flyers as Promotional Material

Last time we started to look into the profession of copywriting, on the Copywriting page. Please find today's lesson on the skills you need to write good flyers on the Flyers page.

Do let me know if you welcome this addition to our e-zine. The plan is to build a great chapter that will help you to overcome language barriers in your working environment.

This is it for now, my friends!

I hope you find this information useful and not too confusing. Even though you're at the stage of building on it, have patience at this point in your learning and you'll be able to reap the fruit of your work later on, whichever aspect of our lessons you are concentrating on.

Please feel free to comment and suggest your ideas by replying to this email - I look forward to hearing from you. If you wish to chat either with me or with other members worldwide, go to My English Club .

All the best from me until next time,

Lucia da Vinci
