Grammar ~ Expressing Degree

Please find this topic outlined on the Expressing Degree page. We have touched on it previously and I am sure we shall further expand on it in the future. I hope you find it useful in your English practice.

Writing ~ The Aspect of Verb Moods for Writing

Today I invite you to look into another powerful aspect related to the use of verbs in writing. You can find out about it on the Verb Moods page.

So far we have gathered some ideas about the powerful words we can use in writing. Now we need to add some practice to the theory, otherwise you won't be able to use it well in real life. Some examples next time!

Game of the Week ~ Getting Back in Touch :-)

My dear friends, instead of our usual game, I felt a strong feeling to rather get back in touch with you, having perused my memory book with the thoughts and good wishes of my friends in Suzhou, China.

Some of you got married in the meanwhile and I haven't heard from you anymore, others are just overwhelmed with work - I wonder...

Nevertheless, I'd love to hear from you, maybe just as much as you from me. I suggest we should open a "Friendship Corner" somewhere on the website, for us to share some news with members around the world, both in the name of friendship, as well as for your practice of English. Make it fun, don't just use it in class because you have to!

Let me organise this idea and I shall present this new project (with some news from my side) hopefully by our next issue. Until then, a big hug from me and all my best wishes!

This is it for now, my friends!

I hope you find this information useful and not too confusing. Even though you're at the stage of building on it, have patience at this point in your learning and you'll be able to reap the fruit of your work later on, whichever aspect of our lessons you are concentrating on.

Please feel free to comment and suggest your ideas by replying to this email - I look forward to hearing from you. If you wish to chat either with me or with other members worldwide, go to My English Club .

All the best from me until next time,

Lucia da Vinci

Founder of My English Club
